Can I request UTO or PTO on the same day that I am going to miss scheduled hours?

No, UTO & PTO must be requested and approved by the end of your prior shift. If you need to miss any scheduled working hours on the same day you are requesting, you must use your points unless otherwise covered by an excused absence such as Jury Duty, Bereavement, etc.
