I been working at ipc for more than 5 years, before the the new time off affective, I had 7points, and now I only have 26.77hrs as uto. Shouldn’t I have 32hrs of uto? I haven’t been late or leave early.
You are correct. You should have started with 32 hours of UTO based on your points and years of service. We are currently working on this problem with our Kronos team and hope to have it resolved shortly. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns please stop by HR for assistance.

My supervisor said that – in our department – we’ll manage attendance the way we’ve been doing it (and not change to meet the new program). Can he/she do that?
Please come see us in HR to discuss. Operating under our old policy or supervisors managing their attendance “like they always have” is no longer an option. The new time-off policy was effective 9/30/2019. Any further questions on the time off policy, please come see us in HR.
If a team member were to call off, they would receive 3 points and 8 hours will be deducted from their UTO bank. What if there wasn’t enough hours to cover the time missed in their UTO bank?
If a team member has an absence, late in or early out that is not pre-scheduled & pre-approved, they will receive points and UTO will be deducted from their UTO bank. If they do not have enough time to cover the time missed in their UTO bank, the bank will go negative. In this situation, the team member will no longer be able to schedule UTO, as Team members can only schedule UTO if their balance is equal to the amount of time they are requesting off.

Your unpaid time off (UTO) balance is not correct. It is caused by an error within Kronos, resulting in a number of team members showing a negative balance in their UTO account. We are working with Kronos to address this issue and are confident that this will be resolved very soon.
For those showing a negative balance, please refer to the Time-Off Program brochure. It will confirm your actual balance as of September 30, 2019. In the interim, if you need to request unpaid time off using your available balance, please check in with one of our employee relations team members. They will help ensure that this request is processed and your account is accurate. You can also submit your request via email at: email@example.com.

Team Members will accrue one (1) hour of Unpaid Time-Off (UTO) for every thirty – (30) hours worked. This does include overtime.
When does the accrual of the UTO start? Does it start at the beginning of the year or does it start on Sept 30th?
Team members start accruing UTO effective September 30th, 2019.
The only missed time that will not deduct UTO or PTO is the excused absences such as Bereavement or Jury Duty.
You must have your time requested & approved through Kronos in order to receive time off without receiving points.
