“My unpaid time off (UTO) says, ‘-659.54’. What does that mean?”
Thanks for your question. When we received it, we were already discussing what happened and how to fix it.
Your unpaid time off (UTO) balance is not correct. It is caused by an error within Kronos, resulting in a number of team members showing a negative balance in their UTO account. We are working with Kronos to address this issue and are confident that this will be resolved very soon.
For those showing a negative balance, please refer to the Time-Off Program brochure. It will confirm your actual balance as of September 30, 2019. In the interim, if you need to request unpaid time off using your available balance, please check in with one of our employee relations team members. They will help ensure that this request is processed and your account is accurate. You can also submit your request via email at: humanresources@inpac.com.
We are very excited about our new time-off program. We’re also disappointed when issues such as this inconvenience some of our team members. We welcome your feedback; you are always welcome to reach out directly to me.
Respectfully,
Mark Berry
